Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to explore preservice teachers' final perceptions regarding integration of service-learning methodologies into their future classroom curriculum after receiving multiple opportunities to conduct service-learning projects with K-12 students during their educational preparation program. More specifically, two questions were explored: 1) How do preservice teachers perceive the required service-learning experience in their teacher preparation course work? And, 2) How likely will preservice teachers be to use service-learning as a teaching method in their future teaching? [authors]
