Abstract:
This chapter documents the experience of three doctoral students who endeavored to offer pre-service teacher education students a context for better understanding the link between the readings for introductory teacher education courses and the actual students they would eventually be teaching. The impetus for the research presented in this chapter was a conversation between these doctoral students, Sara, Kristal, and Heather, while participating in a research methods class.
