Abstract:
Service is a fundamental aspect of engineering. Incorporating service-learning into engineering curricula promotes recruitment and retention. Engineering service-learning may be incorporated into traditional engineering courses, or may be introduced as an entrepreneurial engineering venture. This chapter will provide an example of a junior-level, design-based engineering entrepreneurship course.
