This manual describes the award-winning CoyoteCareers program at CSU San Bernardino which promotes STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) student retention and employment, while engaging alumni, the local community, and the university as a whole. The collaboration of three of the most understaffed and underresourced offices on campus is unconventional, but the authors argue that it points the way to a new thinking about partnerships between university offices and faculty to address a common goal. The glue that holds the partnership together is the relationship among all the partners and the shared goal of helping students find and succeed in their careers of choice. The manual presents a basic outline of CoyoteCareers and the lessons learned throughout the process.
