PeaceJam is a year-long, on-going leadership training program for youth of all ages. Young people have a unique opportunity to study the PeaceJam curriculum, which focuses on 12 Nobel Peace Laureates, their words, their work, and also on issues facing young people today (such as violence and oppression). The curriculum is standards based and also incorporates peacemaking, leadership, and conflict resolution skills. The curriculum is taught by trained community leaders, teachers, and mentors through schools and community based organizations.
