The Community College National Center for Community Engagement (CCNCCE) invites you to submit a proposal to present at its 21st annual national conference, May 23-25, 2012. The conference theme is "Leaders Leading Leaders in Service Learning and Civic Engagement". The conference goal is to provide and enhance the participant's knowledge on how to utilize service learning and civic engagement strategies to meet the academic needs of their students while serving their communities.
Proposals are now being accepted for concurrent pre-conferences and workshop sessions. Workshop sessions are 60-minute sessions, which should be designed to be highly interactive. Pre-conference sessions are either 3 hours (half day) or 6 hours (full day with lunch at noon). Concurrent Sessions are to be interactive and designed to give participants specific skills and strategies related to the topic presented with emphasis within the three major conference tracks: Leadership, Technology, and Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement.
