Description:
The objective of this Service-Learning seminar-type class is to give students an opportunity to learn how visual artists from the Renaissance to the present day have used their powers to make populations living on the fringes of society (religious or racial minorities, the socially disadvantaged, individuals with disabilities, those who construct sexual identities different from the social mainstream, etc.) visible.
