Description:
The students will research and learn about the Civil War. They will learn about the cause and effects of the war on the soldiers and the civilian population. In addition to classroom lessons students will attend a Living History/Civil War Encampment. The encampment will be preceded by an introduction to the event on the day before the encampment. The introduction will include information about the life of the population and the military of the period.
