Description:
When examining the global conflicts and economic crises that are part of the post World War II period, students will interview members of their family or neighbors who immigrated to the United States as a result of a conflict or economic crisis in their country of origin. Students will edit the interviews and create a video program that can be shown in other classes. The goal of the project is to allow students to have a better understanding of the dramatic events that brought various groups to the United States. This understanding will lead to a greater degree of tolerance among groups.
