Description:
The course focuses on expanding and deepening students' knowledge and professional abilities with respect to the theoretical perspectives, empirical evidence, ethical considerations and practice methods and skills necessary to effect change on organizational, political, economic, and social levels for the benefit of clients with whom they work directly. Students will participate in a Service-Learning project related to coordinating, organizing, collecting, and disseminating oral histories of Old South Baton Rouge.
