Description:
This is the syllabus for PSY2309: Community Psychology which was supported by California Campus Compact Social Innovation Generation: Student Leadership Initiative. Community Psychology provides opportunities for students to learn and practice the social change model of leadership, collaborate with a local elementary school by developing a community based learning project, and plan/facilitate a community dialogue. Through classroom discussion, readings, and community work, students will gain the knowledge and skills needed to become an effective social change agent.
