These watershed lesson plans focusing on pollutants such as acid mine drainage were developed by Friends of Deckers Creek for use with the Mountaineer Challenge Academy on a watershed service-learning project. Friends of Deckers is a subgrantee of the West Virginia Commission for National and Community Service through the Learn and Serve Community Based Grant, Project FLOW--Future Leaders of Watersheds.
