Description:
Dietetic supervised practice in clinical, administrative, and community settings, including hospitals, long term care facilities, community dietetics, research and industry. This course is coordinated with and taught concurrently with DIET 208 Institutional Foods for Health Care. Didactic education and the supervised practicum are coordinated to allow the student to apply knowledge obtained in the Dietetics didactic classes. The course provides the student with learning experiences needed to develop the specific competencies of a Dietetic Technician in clinical, administrative and community settings.
