Description:
Students will elicit care and compassion for their human community by using knowledge from their studies in human physiology to mount a disease awareness campaign. After developing techniques of scientific investigation to research specific diseases, they will choose a health concern of immediate interest to focus on. They will then use a variety of techniques such as pamphlets, posters, skits, or a PSA to inform others as to the presence of, preventative techniques for, and simple solutions to the disease.
