Description:
In this service-learning lesson, students develop a recycling proposal to reduce and reuse the trash produced at school. They conduct a survey among the students at school using a particular sample size and sampling method. Upon completion of this activity, students will learn about surveys, sampling, and reasoning by using their findings from the survey and sample analysis to make a display or plan an event to persuade students to throw away less and recycle and reuse more.
