Description:
A group of teens learned about community preparedness and after doing an assessment of their community, chose earthquake safety as their topic area. The teens partnered with the American Red Cross. Using the American Red Cross Masters of Disaster curriculum, the youth worked on earthquake preparedness lessons, and presented information to elementary school kids in Camp Fire USA after-school programs.
