Description:
Family Centered Philosophy is based on the premise that providers must treat consumers with dignity and respect, cognizant of their wishes and needs, and that consumers must be taught to be self-advocating, expressing their needs and wants clearly. Students will work with local Family Resource Network Board of Directors and Council members, learn to work collaboratively with various entities such as community members, consumers, students, school personnel, and social service organizations.
