Description:
A youth group from the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) community worked in partnership with a local film maker to create a documentary on personal experience with hate crimes. The group is distributing the film to LGBT youth centers across the U.S. The youth are also working on ways to change systems which have not been supportive to their lifestyle. For example, they have gone to the legislators to advocate adding a list of protected audiences to the new state anti-bullying bill.
