Description:
Working in collaborative groups, students research the causes of Homelessness, the age/gender/race of the Homeless population, current facilities and resources open to the Homeless population, and where resources are being channeled in Los Angeles in general. Students will compare their research findings to that of their school's community & disseminate the information learned from their research and field trip experience to other students in the school to build awareness of the situation and provide information to teens and their families who may need these services.
