Description:
While studying migrant farm workers during the Great Depression, students will research problems facing migrant workers today. Among the issues they will explore are safety, living conditions, wages, and child labor. Based on their research students will write letters to government officials and legislators to suggest changes in the labor laws that would correct the problems migrants face.
