This is the syllabus outlining the service learning program at Idaho State University PA Program. Also attached is the initial PowerPoint used to describe the program, requirements and service learning sites to the students.
The ISU PA Program requires at least 20 hours of service learning time, logged at approved sites, which are within the two communities that correspond to our main campus (Pocatello, ID) and satellite (Boise, ID). The Program is primarily student-directed, in that the students may select which activity suits their interest and participate with the population, activity and time they prefer. The descriptions of the sites are all located on an online learning management system (LMS), Moodle, for which all students in the program have access.
