Description:
This course will explore the professional role of physical therapists and how it relates to a changing health care environment. The broader scope of physical therapy in relation to local and national communities; other health care professionals and the political arena will also be discussed. In addition, the course will focus on clinical learning, development of self-responsibility, self-assessment and understanding of professional competence. A community service project is required.
