Description:
Most Americans use incandescent bulbs to light their homes, yet there are more energy efficient ones called compact fluorescent light bulbs, or CFL bulbs, and they last ten times longer, use less energy, and save money on electric bills. These curriculum materials for grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 encourage the use of these energy-efficient bulbs as a way to take part in protecting the planet.
