Description:
During the unit on the civil rights movement of the 1960s, students will research which areas in their Congressional District or locality are currently in need of a greater number of registered voters. Students will create a voter registration drive that targets these areas. They will set up voter registration sites at their school and at other locations that will help them reach people in the targeted areas.
