Working Together for Success: Facilitation Skills

Description:

This training was used with college students to teach them how to be effective and facilitative leaders.

Session #1 is focused on collaborative skills used by a facilitative leader. The goal is to help training participants (college students) build skills in collaboration, common purpose, controversy with civility and commitment. An additional outcome is for participants to gain practical skills and new ideas that will be useful in students' emerging leadership role in creating social change.

Session #2 helped to equip participants with skills on managing group dynamics and interactions in a variety of settings, including staff meetings, community meetings, or work situations.
