Description:
While students are studying different political systems, they will investigate the causes and consequences of current world conflicts. They will then prepare presentations to be given to other classes in their school or classes in a near-by middle school. The presentations can be in power point form or an oral presentation with charts and illustrations. The content will include background information on the nations involved, reasons for the conflict, efforts to solve the problem, and the current status of the dispute. Students will prepare a handout to be given to students in the other class and a brief quiz to see what they learned.
