Service-Learning VIP: Sydney

My name is Sydney, and I would like to share with you the wonderful experience I had with service-learning. Participating in service-learning made me feel like I was helping someone decide to go to college. Service-learning made school feel different, because we would always walk around in our community, and talk to people about topics like voting, or we would donate needed items, or raise money for kids. I will continue to help others because of all the things I learned in service-learning at my school. The most important thing I learned by serving is that you should not always think of yourself, but always think of others too. Service-learning was an awesome experience.
